| History of the
Club |
The Murrysville-Export Rotary
Club was founded on August 14, 1945. Through the years and
generations the Rotary Club has left visible symbols of our
dedication to the community in the form of parks and pavilions,
athletic field lighting at the Franklin Regional High School
and the annual Halloween Parade, one of the oldest continuing
parades of its kind in the country.
We also have worked
on international projects to provide fresh water and school
supplies
to a community in India and helping to rid the world of Polio
through Rotary International’s Polio Plus Campaign.
Our
mission is to constantly seek new ways to serve our community
and make the quality of life better in Murrysville and Export.
